GSC Art Gallery Exhibit Schedule

The Creative Center's Art Gallery is has been open since April 2011, during business hours, for specially-scheduled events, and by appointment.

The Creative Center's Art Gallery is temporarily closed for renovations, with plans to reopen in a new first floor location, in April of 2012. We are excited about the plans in store for you, and look forward to announcing the unveiling of our new gallery soon, along with our first scheduled event.

Our most recent exhibit featured the work of local artist Jennifer M Kennedy. Please read on to learn about Jennifer's work, and check back in the coming weeks to learn more about our new gallery!

Greensboro School of Creativity Gallery is proud to present the work of member artist Jennifer M Kennedy. We hope you'll stop by and see this exhibit soon.

Jennifer M KennedyArtist Bio, Jennifer M Kennedy

My name is Jennifer M Kennedy and I was born in Atlanta, GA, but I grew up in Cary, NC. I currently live in Greensboro, NC and work at North Carolina A & T in the Multicultural Student Center. I create abstract paintings using acrylic, oil, and water color. I have not had formal training, but I do plan on taking a class this summer. My emotions are what drive me when I paint. If I am happy then I use bright colors and a brush, and if I am sad I use dark colors and my hands, oh and sometimes I like to use my feet to hold the brush. I also have two wonderful dogs Franklin Preston and Isabella Dawn they are both Chihuahuas.  I look forward to perfecting my craft and learning new techniques in the near future.
