Do you have ESP? Of course you do! We all do! Without the sixth senses “having our backs” humanity could never have survived into this century. And, like all the five senses, the sixth sense can be guided, enhanced, and used regularly. This course will introduce you to a variety of methods for developing your intuitive senses. Each class session will concentrate upon a particular focus, and will provide ample opportunities for hands-on (minds-on) practice in a safe and joyous atmosphere. Discover which intuitive abilities you already possess, and develop your faculties in unfamiliar territory. Psychic abilities can improve your health, expand your consciousness, open your intelligence, enrich daily experience. They can even save your life! Use your increased intuitive abilities to succeed in realizing your dreams, to balance your life goals and relationships, to grow, survive and thrive. Guest teachers will share their expertise. Each class will highlight a particular focus. Every class will begin and end with a centering meditation. The course is divided into 6-week sessions that introduce new intuitive trainings.

- Tuesday, 5/22 – Your Psychic Body
- Tuesday, 5/29 – Conscious Dreaming

An exercise in Creative Individualism! Be simple. Be true. Be wild. Be YOU!
Whether the topic is simplifying our lifestyles and eliminating distractions, being a non-conformist when it is easier to go along with the crowd, examining our obligations to each other and to ourselves, understanding our need to have and conserve wildness, or discovering what is truly important in our lives –Henry David Thoreau has insights worth checking out.
Thoreau’s principled, independent thinking articulates underlying values so important in a society that is often viewed as too rushed, too aggressive and materialistic, and too divorced from the natural world. The purpose of this class is to: promote reflection and open dialogue; coax us out of our comfort zones; and shake ourselves out of complacency!
Discussions during this 6-week study will be inspired by the following themes:
- Listening for the Different Drummer
- Being Awake, Aware and Alive
- Living Deliberately
- Living in Society
- Living in Nature
- Confronting “the Mean and the Sublime”
We will examine our thoughts and feelings through journaling and other fun, weekly explorations in creativity. Activities will take place indoors and out, on the Creative Center campus and at local parks/trails (weather dependent). Free Yourself to Be Yourself!

Reiki is a Japanese form of healing using Universal Energy and the practitioner’s hands. There are generally four levels of Reiki practice:
- Level I - Hands on healing
- Level II - Builds on Level I and adds Mental/Emotional and Distance healing
- Level III or Master - Enhances and builds on Level II healing
- Level IV or Master Teacher - Instructs in teaching all Levels and in giving Reiki attunements
As a healing modality that utilizes the Life Force of the Universe, Reiki will be an excellent addition to the creative community of TCC. Reiki’s energy is not only for healing: it can be used to revitalize, to relax, to expand one’s creativity, to open one’s chakras (energy centers of the body), to clear negative energy from one’s body and environment, and much more. It can be used on anything and anyone. It NEVER has a negative effect. Although spiritual in nature, Reiki is not a religion and is available and accepting of everyone. Reiki can be taught to anyone, of almost any age. Reiki is one of many forms of additional healing currently being utilized in hospitals around the world.
Level I
Classes will include a brief history of Reiki, instruction on how to use your hands for directing Universal Energy to promote healing and relaxation, general positioning of the hands, Reiki attunements to Level I energy, and an instruction manual. Hands-on practice will be part of the class. The use of a pendulum may be added as part of this course of study. Class may be either four one-hour (non-consecutive) evening sessions or one four-hour weekend session. Certificate of Completion awarded.
Level II
Classes will provide instruction in using Reiki to help with mental/emotional issues and in sending Reiki through time and space. Students will also be taught symbols to enhance the power of Reiki energy and will learn how to use surrogates. There may also be discussions around the use of crystals in healing. Level II attunements will be given, as well as a manual. Hands-on practice will be part of the class. Class may be either six one-hour (non-consecutive) evening sessions or one five-hour weekend session. Certificate of Completion awarded. Prerequisite: Level I training, attunement, and practice. Certification required.
Level III/Master
Classes will include additional methods for utilizing Universal Energy and ways to enhance one’s Level II energy levels. Master Level attunement will be given along with a manual. Hands-on practice will be part of the class. Class will be six one-hour (non-consecutive) evening classes plus a specified number of hours of actual Reiki practice. Certificate of Completion awarded. Prerequisite: Certification of Completion of Level I and Level II training plus at least four months’ actual Reiki practice.
Level IV/Master Teacher
Classes include all Master level training plus instruction in giving all levels of attunements. Hands-on practice will be part of the class. Master Teacher attunements will be given along with a manual. Class will be six one-hour (non-consecutive) evening classes plus one three-hour weekend session plus a specified number of hours of actual Reiki practice. Certificate of Completion awarded. Prerequisite: Certification of Completion of Level I and Level II training plus at least six month’s actual Reiki practice.
